
IRVING, Texas (Feb. 10, 2025) — The GIVEN Institute, an organization for Catholic women, has planned a conference at the University of Dallas on Feb. 15.
Originally founded by religious sisters, including Sisters of Life member and UDallas alumna Sr. Mary Gabriel, SV, BA ’96, GIVEN aims “to illuminate the ‘feminine genius’ that women contribute to families, society, the Church and the world.”
The GIVEN Gathering slated for Saturday will include presentations by other members of the UDallas community: theology professor Irene Alexander, PhD, and Kathryn Rombs, PhD, a Rome Program Scholar in Residence.
The conference will end with Mass at the Church of the Incarnation on campus. Registration is still open and available online. Scholarships and group discount tickets are available.
